PRAGUE

is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with a large number of historical sites. The unique location is crowned by the Vltava River, which flows through the city, and numerous elevations.  It is the capital city of the Czech Republic, with more than 1.2 million inhabitants. You can see virtually all architectural styles here. Take a look at the city from above. Prague boasts a thousand steeples. Don’t forget to visit: Prague Castle and the castle gardens The Lesser Town (Malá Strana) and St. Nicholas Cathedral  Charles Bridge and Kampa The Old Town with the Astronomical Clock and lookout tower  The Jewish Quarter and Pařížská Street Vyšehrad The New Town – the Powder Tower, Municipal House, National Theatre, National Museum, Wenceslas Square, Na Příkopě Street    Aficionados of classical music can visit the Rudolfinum, Municipal House or one of the churches in Prague. If you love Mozart, don’t miss one of his operas at the Estates Theatre, which is closely associated with this musical genius.

GASTRONOMY

Czech cuisine has certain common elements with German (especially Bavarian) and Austrian cuisine.  It is tasty, but quite heavy. Czech beer is delicious.  For many, the term “Czech beer” is synonymous with the best beverage of its kind in the world. Try Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus and Budweiser.
